Genentech Goes to Town - 30th Anniversary

Last week, Genentech celebrated the 30th anniversary of its beloved Genentech Goes to Town program, an annual fall tradition that started in South City in 1993 as a way to support the local economy and give back to the community that Genentech calls home.

Being a good neighbor and maintaining its strong relationship with the City of South San Francisco and San Mateo County has been a priority for Genentech since they first opened their doors here nearly 50 years ago. The company continues to demonstrate this commitment through local programs, partnerships and investments that help the community and economy thrive.
