  For 70 years, SAMCEDA has been at the epicenter of where business, policy, and economic decisions are made, not only in San Mateo County, but the entire Bay Area region. We embrace and facilitate the difficult and challenging conversations necessary to maintain a strong, balanced region. SAMCEDA prides itself on bringing accurate and timely information to the forefront so leaders can build consensus, avoid conflict, and implement solutions.

  Convening thought-provoking industry experts to share information, foster collaboration through dialogue, and challenge the status quo is one way we encourage positive change. Our goal is not for attendees to agree at the end of a SAMCEDA event. Success is when people leave knowing new information, thinking in new ways about opportunities and challenges, and expanding their network of thought partners.

  Our region, like many others, is faced with critical decisions today which will shape the next decade. How will we balance economic opportunity and uncertainty, complex technological advances, growth industries, and the reactions of the people who call San Mateo County home.

  We will be tackling these questions at a new signature event, Redefining the Narrative, on Wednesday, October 18th from 3:00PM – 6:00PM at The Grove – Google Experience Center in Redwood City. The event presentations will be followed by a networking reception.
