4 years ago, SAMCEDA was looking for ways to best capture the uniqueness of San Mateo County and our region---“THRED” Talks was born.

“THRED" Talks is a showcase for leaders to weave our region together through Transportation, Housing, Regionalism, Economy and Development – 5 subjects that encompass opportunities and challenges that come with change. Not easy subjects and not easy solutions but creative ideas that demonstrate forward-thinking mindsets to solve public policy challenges.

Our speakers include:

Colleen Cassity - Executive Director, Oracle Education Foundation
Barrie Hathaway - President and CEO, JobTrain
Alicia John-Baptiste - CEO, Spur
