  • Event: County of San Mateo's Veteran Stand Down
  • Event Description: This event will bring together service organizations covering everything from VA Healthcare, VA Disability Claims, housing assistance, employment resources, elder care programs, financial assistance, education and more. Legal services will also be available on site for eligible veterans including waiver of outstanding traffic fines, bench warrant assistance, post convictions relief and sealing of records, and legal assistance through the Veterans Treatment and Diversion Court. The Veteran Affairs Health System will have their mobile clinic on-site to provide toxic exposure screening and clinical check-ups for veterans along with VA healthcare enrollment.
