SAMCEDA’s Holiday Reception

SAMCEDA hosted our annual Holiday Reception to express our appreciation to our SAMCEDA members and community leaders for their ongoing support throughout the year. 

Held at Skyway Center in San Carlos, attendees came together to engage and build new connections.

County of San Mateo’s 34th Annual Women in County Government Recognition and Charity Luncheon

The Women in County Government (WICG) Governing Board held their 34th Annual Women in County Government Recognition and Charity Luncheon at the Crowne Plaza Foster City-San Mateo in Foster City.

This event is to acknowledge the women employees of the County of San Mateo who have demonstrated success through their dedication and service to the community.

Bay Area Council’s 79th Annual Dinner & Bay Area Business Hall of Fame

Business, civic and elected leaders gathered to celebrate business and philanthropic leadership at Bay Area Council's 79th Annual Dinner and Bay Area Business Hall of Fame at the Westin St. Francis San Francisco in San Francisco.

This year’s Hall of Fame honorees included: former Sybase CEO, John Chen, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners’ Managing Director, Ann Winblad, and the late Sandy Robertson, Co-Founder and Partner Emeritus of Francisco Partners and Founder and Chairman of Robertson, Stephens & Company.

San Mateo County Central Labor Council and San Mateo County Building & Construction Trades Council’s Holiday Luncheon

Highlights of the San Mateo County Central Labor Council and San Mateo County Building & Construction Trades Council’s notable accomplishments and updates were showcased at their Holiday Luncheon at The Westin San Francisco Airport in Millbrae.

County of San Mateo’s Farewell Reception: San Mateo County Supervisors Dave Pine & Warren Slocum

The County of San Mateo hosted a Farewell Reception to honor outgoing District 4’s President Supervisor Warren Slocum and District 1’s Supervisor Dave Pine at County Center in Redwood City. 

Heartfelt speeches were delivered, acknowledging their invaluable contributions and the lasting positive influence they've had on both their local communities and throughout San Mateo County.

President Supervisor Warren Solcum and Supervisor Pine reflected on their journey and memorable experiences during their time at the County and expressed deep gratitude to their teams.

From expert chocolatiers and chili oil-makers to talented artisans, the KQED Holiday Night Market brought together a diverse mix of local vendors at KQED’s headquarters in San Francisco.
