Move California - Act Now

Transit impacts everyone.

Riders use it to get to work, to school, and to appointments. Even non-riders benefit—drivers experience less congestion, businesses rely on employees and customers who take transit, and the arts, culture, and tourism thrive when transit is strong.

If we don’t act now:

  • California will become more expensive for residents and workers.
  • Congestion will choke our roads and trap people in gridlock.
  • Local business and our economy will suffer.
  • We will never meet our climate and housing goals.

If public transit collapses, it would erode the state’s economic competitiveness, make it harder for families to get kids to school, make it more difficult for seniors and people with disabilities to live independently, and undermine our small businesses like restaurants and theaters that depend on transit.
