Carl Mennie

Carl Mennie is the Vice President and South Region Manager for Recology. He oversees the operations of 10 Recology subsidiaries, with a majority located in San Mateo County and Santa Clara County. In his role, Mr. Mennie also leads the business development activities within the region. He joined Recology in 2016 as the South Region Controller.

Prior to the Recology team, Mr. Mennie worked 15 years in the Recycling and Solid Waste industry in a variety of positions including General Manager, Division Manager, and Division Controller. He has held key leadership positions in Hauling, Material Recovery Facilities, Composting, Landfill, and Transfer Station. Mr. Mennie earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University.
