What is Peninsula Clean Energy?

Peninsula Clean Energy, or PCE, is San Mateo County’s official electricity provider. Peninsula Clean Energy offers lower rates and the added benefit of two electricity options, each with a different percentage of sustainable energy. 

Clean Energy Options -

Peninsula Clean Energy (PCE) will deliver cleaner, greener electricity at lower rates. Reisidents and Businesses can choose between two different product options, ECOplus and ECO100. Each product has a different amount of sustainable energy from renewable sources such as solar and wind.

ECOplus_logo-buttonECOplus is the default electric option, in which you’ll be automatically enrolled during your designated phase. This option includes, lower rates, 50% of your electricity will come from renewables and is 75% carbon-free

 

ECO100_logo-buttonECO100 is the best option for those who want to reduce their carbon footprint to help make the greatest impact in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This option includes; 100% of electricity will come from renewables, it is 100% carbon-free and reduction in greenhouse gas emissions globally.
