  • Description: JobTrain and the East Palo Alto police department are partnering to host an event where candidates can receive all the information they need to decide on and embark upon a career in law enforcement or emergency services. 

    This innovative event will include the opportunity for jobseekers to:

    - Understand the timeline and elements of a successful application
    - Talk with recruiters and law enforcement professionals
    - Create a CalOpps profile
    - Sign up for ride-alongs
    - Attempt an obstacle course wearing protective gear
    - Learn about written test prep
    - Sign up for application support from JobTrain
    - and more!
